The Shasta Public Libraries, through the Shasta Literacy department, offer free digital education workshops to help you improve your skills with computers, smartphones, tablets, or iPads.

Computer Workshops
Computer Workshops are available through Shasta Literacy and are free to the public. These workshops are a 6-week comprehensive class that covers such areas as beginning computers, email, the internet, and Microsoft Word.

Public Computers
All library branches offers free public access computers at all three locations. All of our public computers are available for research or leisure, and our children’s public computers have access to both fun and educational games. Chomebooks are also available for checkout inside the library with your library card and picture ID.

Open WiFi Access
Shasta Public Libraries has wireless internet access available at no charge to anyone with WiFi-enabled laptops and wireless devices. Public WiFi access is available at all three branches. (WiFi users must configure their own equipment)
