The Shasta Library Foundation hosts the Annual Gala Event. The foundation provides critical support to the Shasta Public Libraries through fundraising, advocacy, and innovative programs, resulting in free programs, resources, and services available to the adults, children, and youth in ShastaCounty.

The Friends of Shasta County Libraries operates the Bookstore inside the Redding Library, the Friends books inside the Anderson Library. Your donation help to promote, support and enhance library programs, resources and partnerships in your community. Donations are used to fund the Summer Reading Program and to purchase the “Hot Off the Press” Books for shelves in the Redding & Anderson Libraries.
