Explore the great outdoors at the Redding Library!
The Redding Library’s Children’s Garden has been transformed into the Outdoor Explore Children’s Garden, a naturally interactive environment for kids and families.
The design of the Outdoor Explore Children’s Garden was facilitated by Nature Explore, a company dedicated to transforming “children’s lives through research-based outdoor classroom design services, educator workshops, and natural products.”
Features Include:
- Music and Movement Area including a marimba
- Water Area with a water table or feature
- Digging Area
- Sensory Garden — plants and pathways
- Nature Art Area with art panels and chalk board
- Shade Sails
