Teen Advisory Board

The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) consists of teen volunteers from Shasta County who strive to make the library and their community better.

You may qualify if you...

  • Are between the ages of 12-18 or are considered to be in 7th-12th grade.
  • Want to learn how to use the Create It! Space.
  • Are interested in making a difference in your community.
  • Are Interested in making the Teen Area a fun place to be!
  • Need community service hours for school or a school organization.
  • Like planning fun events for every teen in the library to enjoy!

Join us in Redding on Tuesdays @ 6pm

Meeting topics and location rotate each month:

  • Week 1: Business Meeting in the Foundation Room
  • Week 2: Community Service Meeting in the Teen Scene 
  • Week 3: Create It! Space Help in the Create It! Space 
  • Week 4: Game Night in the Teen Scene
