Intermediate Word (Word 2007)

A continuation of Beginning Word. Expands and reviews skills introduced in Beginning Word. Topics covered include mail merge, envelopes and labels, text boxes, and tables. Beginning Word required, or the equivalent. Must have had some experience using Word before attending the class.

Beginning Internet

This class explains what the world wide web (www) is. Learn internet jargon and how to perform basic searches using a search engine or a known address. No computer experience is required, however, it is helpful to have attended Beginning Computers first, or have some experience using the mouse and keyboard.

Come read to a dog.
The Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.) program improves children’s reading and communication skills by employing a powerful method: reading to a dog. But not just any dog. R.E.A.D. dogs are registered therapy animals who volunteer with their owner/handlers as a team who come to the Redding Library to be reading companions for children.
