MISSION STATEMENTThe Friends of the Anderson Library think of their library as an open doorway to the world. Knowledge, literature, travel, cooking, car restoration, fishing, backpacking, gardening, the Internet; whatever is your interest, we believe that the Anderson Library is the place for you!
ACTIVITIES
We are a nonprofit volunteer organization dedicated to the support of our free public library system. Members receive a seasonal newsletter, "The Last Word," which provides current information on Library hours, programs, and activities. The Friends encourage literacy and learning through their sponsorship of library events including storytimes, the summer reading program, and the author lecture series.

Book Sales and Library Friends Groups Go Together
We have 2 to 4 book sales per year. Our current schedule includes one in the spring and one in the fall. Book sale proceeds support the purchase of library materials for the Anderson Library collections.
